Ten months and eight teeth later

Last Sunday, November 6th, Lance turned ten months old. He has eight teeth. So ten months since he was born, and eight teeth later, here is a snippet of what he like…

Ten months and eight teeth later, Lance is on the move. He is unstoppable. He is crawling everywhere and pulling up on whatever he can get his little paws on. Instead of playing with all of his toys that used to be cool, he would rather crawl around and get into “stuff.” For instance, the dog leash, dog bowl, cell phone charger, shoestrings, and plants are WAY more fun.

Ten months and eight teeth later, Lance is still bald. Aside from the peach fuzz on the back of his head, he is still pretty much bald. I kind of like it this way because it still makes him look very “baby.” Now that he is crawling, he looks so grown up to me, but his baldness still says “baby.”

Ten months and eight teeth later, Lance has the cutest little fingers and little toes. I love his little fingers connected to his chubby little hands with dimpled knuckles. I love his little toes connected to his little feet with ticklish soles. And that is all I have to say about little fingers and little toes. Plain and simple — I love them.

Ten months and eight teeth later, Lance still loves to swing. I say “still” because we got him one of those plastic red and yellow swings over the summer and hung it off a tree branch in our front yard… and since that day, swinging has been a favorite past-time activity.

Back… (note said teeth)… and forth…

back… in his owl hat…

and forth… in a bucket swing at a playground…

back… WAY back…

and back again… (note said tiny fingers)… happy boy…

Ten months and eight teeth later, Lance is a bald crawler with cute little fingers and toes who likes to swing. How is that for a description of my child in one sentence?! What a hoot!
