As my son and I were walking back from the community pool the other day, he looked up at some telephone wires and said, “Mommy, are those Legos or dinosaur bones up there?”
I hastily told him they were some kind of receptors, even though I had no idea what they were. My husband, the electrical engineer, told me that they are basically just weights that hold the wires in place so they don’t get tangled.
I thought receptors sounded cooler.
But really, I wish I was four again.
Life is way more fun when you are four.
